FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: When are you open?

A: We will be around from the Easter Bank Holiday until November from 0900 – 1800hrs come rain or shine (keep your fingers crossed for the shiny weather).

Q: It’s raining, are you still open?

A: We sure are, you will get wet one way or another.

Q: Where can I park?

A: We are based on the revetment mid way between Shanklin and Sandown therefore have no parking. If mobility is problematic please park either end of the bay (Shanklin – Sandown) and take a nice flat leisurely stroll along the revetment (800 meters approx). Alternatively you can park at Winchester House car park (pop PO37 6HT into your sat-nav) walk away from the road onto the cliff path, turn left and follow the stairs down to your right, when you get to the bottom turn left and keep walking along the sea front, you can’t miss us.

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: You will need a towel, a pair of shoes that you can wear in the water, swimwear to wear under a wetsuit, suncream…….and your biggest brightest smile.

Q: I’m not a very strong swimmer can I still join in?

A: You don’t need to be a World Champion swimmer as you will be wearing a buoyancy aid. However, we do ask that you can swim at least 25 meters and you are confident in the water.

Q: Wow, the sea looks big! Will we still go in?

A: Of course, but please keep in mind that we may have to change your activity according to the sea state. We guarantee you will have an amazing time whatever the weather or sea decides to do.
