BOOKING CONDITIONS
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. All clients attending any of our courses should be able to swim 25 meters OR have some form of water confidence. Non swimmers may participate in some of the activities, but this would be subject to the type of activity and the conditions on that particular day. This will be at the discretion of the centre Manager or Chief Instructor.
2. For safety reasons all clients must abide by and follow instructions given by Wightwater staff.
3. Insurance against accident, personal injury, loss or damage is the personal responsibility of the individual or group leader. Wightwater will accept NO liability for any such accident, injury, loss or damage howsoever caused.
4. We will supply a wetsuit and buoyancy aid but do not supply any footwear, it is advised that any person attending a course with us brings suitable footwear. We recommend wetsuit shoes or boots or an old pair of training shoes will suffice. Please insure that you have adequate clothing to put on after your watersports session particularly in the early part of the season and if the weather happens to be wet.
5. Please make sure you check you have all your personal belongings before you depart, check your changing room, while every effort is made to store any lost property we take no responsibility for items lost or left behind.
6. If you or any member of your party have any specific medical conditions e.g. (Diabetes / epilepsy / asthma etc) please notify us by filling in the attached medical form and advise the Chief Instructor or Centre Manager on arrival at the centre.
7. If you are a non-swimmer please bring this to our attention when you arrive at the centre.
SPLASH SESSIONS
With our splash sessions we endeavour to ensure that all clients enjoy the wide variety of activities and games, though we must point out that some of the activities maybe delayed, cancelled or curtailed due to weather conditions or sea state. This does not entitle you to a refund unless the session is cancelled completely and no other activities are possible.
(The Centre Manager reserves the rights to cancel any session or sessions if he feels that the weather conditions or sea state are too hazardous at that time.)
GROUP BOOKINGS
1. The maximum group we cater for is 48, if you would like to bring a larger group please contact us prior to booking.
2. No group has exclusive use of the facilities and we reserve the right to book additional groups to maximise the use of the centre equipment and staff.
3. Charges include all hire of the equipment, instruction, supervision, protective clothing, and changing facilities.
4. RESPONSIBILITIES Wight Water staff are responsible for the safe conduct of on the water activities from the issue of wetsuits until the clients are out of the water and changing. School party and group leaders remain responsible for there party on site before and after the on water activities. At least two party leaders should remain on site for the following responsibilities.
(a) To maintain discipline and order amongst those persons not taking part or who finish activities early.
(b) In the event of an accident requiring a visit to the hospital a party leader must be available to accompany the injured person to hospital and also have access to relevant medical information specific to that person.
(c) To take responsibility of all of the groups valuables as Wight Water cannot guarantee security.
5. Provisional booking can be made by telephone. This will only be confirmed upon receipt of a completed booking from accompanied by the correct deposit of 25%. The balance is payable four weeks prior to the activity date.
6. Cancellations will be accepted and deposit returned up to four weeks prior to the activity date. No deposit will be returned on cancellations within four weeks of the activity date unless subsequent bookings are taken.
7. Upon receipt of your deposit you will be sent an invoice for the balance with settlement date.
