INCIDENT REPORT SECTION

It is important that all incidents that give rise to concern eg near misses, even though they caused no injury and did not require First Aid attention, should be reported fully in the section set aside for that purpose at the back of the Maintenance Log Book. The circumstances should be comprehensively described as soon as possible after the incident occurred. The Chief Instructor is responsible for all entries and for monitoring the Incidents and Accidents on a fortnightly basis in order to detect any trends as early as possible; the Chief Instructor should then report to the management any concerns over the operation of the Centre.

FIRST AID BOXES
The Management will inspect the First Aid Boxes every week and check they are fully stocked as per the Guidance Card. Any shortages must be replaced from stocks held at the Office. The Management must then sign and date the FIRST AID CHECKLIST REGISTER.

Any First Aid equipment and medications for the personal use of staff must be kept in separate containers clearly marked for personal use only and stored separately form the public first aid boxes.
